Originating from the farm of Esayas Beriso, this particular variety of coffee is cultivated in the high-altitude region of Buku, Ethiopia. The unique conditions of this area, with farm plots reaching heights of 2,350 m.s.l, result in a remarkably exquisite cup quality. Unlike typical blends of the various Ethiopian coffee varieties known as 'Ethiopian Landrace', this coffee is a single-variety from Ethiopia. Due to the intricate political landscape and long history of coffee production in Ethiopia, finding single-variety batches from this country is a rare feat.
